Araw ng Kagitingan: Celebrating the Courage of Filipino Fighters

        Araw ng Kagitingan is also known as the Day of Valor, signifies the significance of the fighters of the Philippines who fought against the invasion  of Japanese in World War II.


        This year’s theme aims to remember the veterans whose courage and sacrifices became the very foundation of the country’s freedom. Their stories of heroism and of working together remind every Filipino of the value of solidarity and unity in nation-building.


        To conclude, Araw ng Kagitingan is not only is a day for introspection. It acts as a wake-up call for the current generation. Heroes of World War II inspired us to face our own obstacles with bravery and resiliency because of their fortitude and patriotism. It serves as a reminder of the innate resilience of the Filipino people, resilience capable of overcoming hardship and paving the way for a better future.
